This marinade was amazing. I really wasn't certain about the ingredients (didn't want teriyaki blazon), and decided to take a risk based upon the ratings. Boy, was I glad I did. The steaks ended up marinating 3 days (due to changes in plans). They were and so tender, and the gustatory modality... fabulous. This marinade is very subtle, it actually enhances the meat well. I didn't have parsley, and so I added a dash of thyme. My DH was extremely happy with the sense of taste, and wants me to use this recipe again and again. ***UPDATE***-I wanted something unlike for Christmas dinner for 15 people, this was my choice, and anybody raved virtually how flavorful and tender the steaks were (we used flat iron steaks). I brought the steaks home from the store, fixed the marinade, popped them in the freezer for most a week, so defrosted them Christmas Eve. My DH put them on the BBQ to cook, YUMMM! On a decorated twenty-four hours, information technology was an effortless, only outstanding main dish.

Steak purist as he is, hubs preferred his steak without this marinade and didn't employ it. In retrospect I wish I would have followed accommodate. Thank goodness l at least used fresh garlic, but I think both the lemon juice and hefty amount of garlic powder contributed a strong, "off flavor," as one reviewer put information technology, that I simply didn't intendance for - not so sure I liked the basil either. It was fun to experiment, but it would have been and so much easier and and so much better to have but stuck with the unproblematic steak seasonings nosotros're accustomed to. When something is really expert, like a good quality steak, it simply doesn't need anything to make information technology ameliorate.

I don't know if this is "THE All-time" steak marinade, simply it comes in close. I used this on ii pretty large NY stips and it came out great! I cutting the olive oil downwardly to i/4 c. and used all minced garlic, no powders. I used 2 Tbsp. of dried basil and 1 Tbsp. of oregano. I didn't have white pepper, then I used 1/2 tsp. of blackness pepper. I put everything into a ziplock bag and let it marinate all day. Perfect with a broiled potato and salad!

Very practiced marinade. I only had garlic common salt, and it was a fault to use it. The garlic table salt made the marinade too salty, definitely brand certain you utilise garlic powder equally the resipe calls for! Otherwise the flavor was pretty great!

This recipe is Awesome. My hubby LOVED it. I didn't have any Lemon Juice and then I used Lime and information technology came out Nifty.

This is expert, just I have been doing the "verbal ingredients for over 20 years. You lot "do not" need to blend ingredients in a blender at all. In fact, if, afterward tasting "mixture", it seems "to strong for your taste buds", just an a lilliputian water to it.". I also always add together "a footling oil or canola oil" to the mixture(it depends how much you lot make, but "at least a tablespoon". It tenderizes the steak/pork/or venison" meat, and gives the flames on the grill a chance to "dance upward", giving those nice "charred lines> I also use both powered garlic and real garlic. I subsitute lemon juice with "rice flavored vinegar or wine vinegar. Be sure "not to over due the acidic ingredients(lemon or vinegars)If y'all have "fresh basil go out handy, instead of dry..even improve. I always "freeze "fresh basil leaves" in a ziploc baggie, to take handy in the house. But crush the leaves once from, grab a handful to add to your "marinades or pasta sauces. Makes a "huge difference in season. Sometimes, instead of "soy", I'll use Terriyaki sauce instead, or sometimes "a lilliputian of each". Especially with "pork tenderloins. Even throw in chopped dark-green onions. Once yous are "comfortable making your own marinades, "the "skys the limit". You likewise , if a tender cut of meat(similar pork or beefiness or venison tenderloin", do not accept to marinate "more than than a half hr". Marinades volition stay in a glass jar up to a week, if you do not have time to exercise information technology "daily". I ship up a batch with my husband went he goes hunting

First-class Marinade. I actually didn't add the last 4 ingredients. I didn't take parsley flakes & just forgot the pepper. I marinated 4 big Ribeyes for about iv-five hours and the steaks were delicious, all-time I've e'er cooked. My married man took one of the steaks to piece of work two days later and microwaved it for tiffin. He was concerned that information technology might be dry or tough and said it tasted even meliorate. Great recipe. Thanks for sharing.

The trouble with marinades that are intensely acidic is that they make the surface of the meat mushy, gray, and resistant to browning. I take made a version of this marinade with just a tablespoon of lemon juice and the zest of ane lemon for flavor, and the texture was markedly amend. I also used fresh herbs, equally dried herbs accept an off flavor. I would not suggest anybody utilise a tertiary of a cup of lemon juice, as the acid does not actually tenderize the meat by the first few millimeters of the surface, which becomes waterlogged and broken down by the acid.

This marinade was really flavorful. I marinated the steaks overnight and the meat was juicy & tender. Not bad recipe!
04/06/2008
Used fresh garlic instead of pulverisation. Peachy flavour!

This marinade was simply wonderful. Nosotros have been cutting dorsum on expesnses in our home, which includes non eating out. I accept been doing by all-time to deliver resturant quality dishes so that no one gets lath. This did not fail! My fiance simply raved over it. The only thing I changed was that a few mintues earlier the meat was done cooking, I sprinkled a niggling bit of turbanado saccharide on the meat to balance the salt. It was to die for! Past the way, although you dont have accept to blend the ingredents together with a processor, I hightly recommend information technology. This really allows the flavors to mix, the herbs to exist ground (which increased the flavor of any herb) and the oil to be infused with the flavors of this marinade. Dont hesitated to try this i!
04/04/2008
I allow this marinate for 24 hours. DELICIOUS!
01/07/2011
This really is ane of the best meat marinades I've come beyond in over 30 of cooking. I have used it on steaks, roasts, pork and chicken with wonderful results every time. I have never blended it, rather only whisk the ingredients together in a drinking glass basin. The copy I made of this recipe is actually worn out from then much use! A friend is a NC BBQ pit principal and he uses information technology frequently. No better endorsement than a pro!
05/08/2011
I never actually eat steak, but that's what my mom wanted for mother's day. I don't really take anything to compare information technology to because I've never marinated steak before! It was very easy to put together...I skipped the blender part and merely mixed it in a bowl, put the steaks in ziploc bags and poured the marinade in. Mom said "this marinade is delicious!" so it looks like I did proficient. Once the steaks were on the grill I poured the excess into a pan with some mushrooms, butter, and a little cornstarch and served that on tiptop the steaks. That was the all-time part. Don't throw out that extra marinade!!
07/06/2009
I'm agape I was just a fleck disappointed by this marinade. All the same, at 4 stars, information technology was pretty good. I definitely concur that the ingredients should exist mixed in a blender and then they are compatible. This likewise makes the marinade very thick so it sticks to the meat extremely well - but this is part of the problem. Considering of its thickness, even after grilling there is so still much marinade coating the meat that it is overpowering - the flavor of the meat gets lost in the marinade. So, the solution is simple - make certain yous wipe most of the marinade off before you lot cook the meat! With this 1 addition to the directions, information technology might take gotten 5 stars from me.

I added beer to encompass the steaks and marinaded 12 hours in Food Saver airtight vacuum sealer marinade bowl. Juiciest, about succulent Porterhouse steak I have ever tasted.
03/17/2008
This tasted great! I was out of basil, and so I substituted rosemary, but it even so came out tasting wonderful!
01/14/2011
I used this marinade for 2 big juicy ribeye steaks. Neither me nor my fiance cared for information technology that much. With all the soy sace, lemon juice and worchestershire it fabricated the meat very sour and virtually made information technology gustation rancid. I was a lilliputian disappointed in how many ingredients I wasted to brand information technology. I think maybe if the measurements were correct, with a fiddling tweaking, this could be a skillful recipe. Mayhap using fresh herbs instead of dried would exist better likewise. Overall, it needs some work.
12/thirteen/2012
I just put the ingredients in a ziploc bag, add the meat and squeeze out the air. Blending isn't necessary. I ofttimes do several steaks at a fourth dimension and pop the numberless in the freezer so the meat is ready for the grill on short notice. This is very flavorful and peculiarly adept on kabobs and London Bake. I've used this recipe for a few years and it's become the "house marinade" because it's never failed to tenderize a piece of beef or generate a compliment. It can exist tweaked for variety'southward sake and doesn't require exact measurements. A tip of the hat to you lot Kookie!
10/14/2010
When I fabricated this the kickoff time, I definitely had my doubts. It looked like baby diarrhea, but I saw how many ratings there were and I decided to go ahead anyway!! WOW!!! I was very surprised. My girlfriend thinks I'm a Genius!! (Sorry... I'm not telling her I found information technology online!!) Way to get!! Proceed adding more recipes. You lot brand my cooking look really good! Thanks Kookie!

This is the last time I'm going to ruin a perfectly good steak with a marinade. I used this on New York Strip steaks this evening and was thoroughly disappointed. In my stance, a adept steak merely needs a piddling bit of common salt and some pepper, so I'm promising my husband and myself that I'll never use a marinade on expert meat once more!
01/03/2012
Then I made a steak for the first fourth dimension e'er today (I'k only 22, requite me a break). I used Allrecipes to find a good steak recipe since I had no thought what to exercise, except that I was going to pan-fry information technology. This marinade came up on top of the ratings list. I used the hot sauce and actress garlic, and the but thing I changed was I used minced garlic instead of the garlic powder (didn't have powder), and used italian seasoning instead of the basil (over again didn't take basil). This turned out amazing! I can only imagine how much better it would've been if I was more experienced cooking steak! Definitely recommending this one to friends and family. Thanks for posting it!
03/06/2011
Not even shut. This is not only NOT the best marinade in beingness, merely really substandard. The use of both of the garlics gives it a heavy aftertaste. The basil is, well not really sure why it's there. And the lemon juice adds an odd tangy note totally unlike anything else in the marinade. Perhaps substituting a wine instead of lemon juice for the acidity requirement might bind the whole affair together. This did not piece of work at all for me. Sorry to say.

THIS HAS TO Exist THE BEST MARINADE IN THE Globe! Marinaded for 6 hours- Turn the Grill on Loftier and with the lid downwardly get the inside temp to 400, (wait untill its up there), sear the meat on all sides opening and the hat to to check and flip. When seared or blackened to desired crust, plow the grill on Low to cool information technology, untill the temperature gets down to about 275 or 300. When the grill cools down you tin close the chapeau and cook the meat turning occasionally until the within temperature of the meat is to the desired temperature. (150 is good) Accept the meat out on plate embrace with a dish cloth for well-nigh x min to let the meat rest. Nothing else needed. This is the marinade I chose to apply for the tenderloins at the company picnic. There were 3 tenderlions about 3 lbs each, 9 lbs total. I doubled the recipe for the marinade. I used both the minced garlic and the powdered garlic. Don't use 'Salt Garlic'. And for the 'Lemon Juice' I used 'Real Lemon' in the bottle. I used 'Blackness Pepper', non the white because I similar how it crusts. And for the hot sauce I used 'Scarlet Pepper' powder. The hot pepper boost serves to balances the spices it does non brand the meat hot at all.. I used 'Actress Virgin Olive Oil' considering it has more season. I wanted to stretch the recipe and so I added well-nigh i/3 cup more oil. I divide marinade up into three plastic zippos, threw a tenderloin in each one. Marinaded it in the frig, turning the bag over a few times over a half-dozen hour menstruation.
01/24/2011
very good i let this marinade for 1-2days
12/thirteen/2012
I accept used this same recipe for over 15 years with one change. My recipe calls for a one/4 cup of mustard. I prefer a grainy dijon but any will work and each volition subtly change the marinade's flavor. I have fifty-fifty used horseradish and what a kick that gives. I also will marinade tougher cuts for 12 to fourteen hours and the lemon juice makes them very tender. It also works very well as an injection sauce but must be very well blended. JC3
04/19/2011
If yous're using this do NOT let it marinade for more than a few hours. I permit information technology marinade over dark and information technology was horribly strong. No ane in my business firm could choke it downwardly. I'm not brave enough to try over again with less marinade fourth dimension.
02/07/2011
This was corking. I used 3 fresh garlic cloves, sirracha sauce and added a piffling dijon mustard as another reviewr did. I mixed this in my food processor and it gave the marinade a great texture....1 that I dont think I could have acheived past only srtiring with a spoon. I marinated 2 ribeyes for 22 hours. The steaks came out so juicy. I had reserved some of the marinade and heated it up to drizzle on every bit I served the steak. It was wonderful. This ones a keeper for united states of america!!
11/27/2008
I'yard sorry, merely I really didn't like this marinade, found it likewise overpowering. The gustation of the meat was not there anymore, all I could taste was the marinade and I marinaded it for less than an hour. My married man took a bite of the meat and merely left the remainder on the plate.
01/13/2011
Both my brothers, my father and my picky husband all agreed that this was indeed the best steak marinade in existence!
01/02/2012
VERY VERY VERY GOOD! I followed the recipe exactly. I tried the marinade before marinating my 2 filet mignon steaks and I wasn't impressed at all. It tasted like seasoned worcestershire sauce to me. Anyway I allow my 2 steaks marinate for four hours, cooked information technology on each side for 3 minutes, added the remaining sauce to mushrooms like another commenter suggested, sauteed and served on top. Delicious!!!! The marinade combined with the steak WAS DIVINE!!!! My bf and I couldn't get plenty!!! Believe me, Do NOT get discouraged if y'all endeavour the marinade by itself, you will Non regret making this. AMAZING!!!! Bang-up Job Kookie!!
01/16/2011
Omit the lemon juice and you have a really good marinade. The acidity of a lemon really takes away from the season of a dainty cut of meat.
09/23/2012
Made this this night for some inexpensive summit circular steaks. Wow! The whole family loved the flavor. And then delicious. Great recipe! Thanks
01/31/2011
I had to endeavour this recipe because of all the rave reviews and I thought for sure I had a winner only was very displeased with the finish production. The steaks (Ball Tips) came out super tender but the season was all incorrect for my family and I. The flavor was too over powering! They were uneatable. This is the 3rd bomb in equally many weeks. My sugariness married man, who is a awesome cook, is getting ill of me "experimenting" on my family particularly when they end up leaving the dinner table still hungry on 'my dinner nights'. If I keep this stride upwardly I simply might end up getting fired from my dinner nights.
01/04/2012
I decided to endeavour this after seeing some practiced reviews. Information technology makes quite a bit of marinade, but I did two large flank steaks with it in two split bags. I followed the directions, except I cut the basil in half equally I ran out. I used low-sodium soy sauce, and would definitely suggest that. It is quite salty, from the soy sauce, fifty-fifty using that exchange. I also did add together the optional ingredients. At first bite I thought it had a potent taste of the basil, but the more I ate information technology, the more I liked it. The just downside, is it actually over-tenderized. I never thought that was possible. I broiled my flank steak, every bit usual, and it was so tender I almost had problem cutting it. I would definitely use this for a tough, less flavorful, cutting of meat as the marinade does accept very strong flavor. It would mask a skilful steak, in my opinion. For some reason, I could see men liking this though.
02/16/2012
Did non alter a thing...it IS the best steak marinade. Thanks. :-)
12/fifteen/2010
We honey this one! It's a squeamish change from the bottled marinades then yummy! The but thing we do dissimilar is add lots more than fresh garlic in the blender...
04/02/2010
Excellent marinade. Basically a common salt & pepper & olive oil man at time of grilling, but on tougher cuts, properly scored or with utilize of tenderizer tool, and on a roast, it is absolutely succulent for taste and wet retention when left to rest. Very skilful. I prefer a little chipolte seasoning to the pepper sauce, and the fresh garlic. a very good 5 star + marinade, cheers, I usually adopt my home fabricated rubs, but this was very very proficient.
07/19/2010
I followed the recipe to a letter of the alphabet and plant the taste was just to my liking.
12/22/2010
my husband and I take tried a lot of marinades and this is by far the all-time!. we use it everytime we grill steaks. def. improve than any store bought marinade!
03/09/2012
This is a really keen marinade. It has wonderful flavor, tenderizes the meat, and goes well with most cuisines. My but complaint is that information technology'south a but salty- so I don't apply as much soy sauce.
07/31/2013
I've read a lot of reviews were people substituted this or that, well for me, I ever try a recipe as written first, before I decide to substitute, add together, delete, etc. There is cipher I would alter about this recipe!! I tried this for the first fourth dimension on a day I was having my family, and an old Navy buddy who was passing through boondocks, over for grilled steaks and boiled shrimp. I wanted to do something unlike with the steaks, and I found this recipe and tried information technology. I doubled the recipe because I had 8 steaks, and put them on to marinate near 10:00pm to go on the grill at four:00pm the next day. There was non a single bite of steak left on ANYONE's plate, and all were raving nigh how flavorful and tender the steaks were. (I employ a gas grill) My Navy friend took a photograph of the recipe on his style out and so he could have it when he got home. He sent me pictures of the baby back ribs and chicken he was grilling after marinating them in this stuff, and said they both came out fantastic! So thanks Kookie for sharing this! It's phenomenal just the way it is, and I really can't moving-picture show myself seasoning a steak whatever other way anymore. Heck, I may fifty-fifty marinate some rib eyes just to see how not bad it volition make them gustation!
06/15/2010
This marinade is okay. After cooking the but flavors that stand out are the soy sauce and lemon juice. I have had much better, and will well-nigh probable not use this 1 again.
12/14/2012
I make this all the fourth dimension, always makes the steaks so tender. Invitee always rave when I bbq steaks afterward they take been in this merinade over dark. Love it!
08/eleven/2011
1/2 the soya sauce, cut downwards on lemon juice and add at least as much balsamic vinegar.
07/30/2012
Tried recipe at home with flank steak. Used all ingredients except parsley flakes because I couldn't find in my pantry (it'll probably turn up at present that I don't demand it!). Marinated overnight in fridge. Let meat come to room temp earlier tossing on a screaming hot BBQ grill. 4 minutes each side gave me perfectly medium rare steaks. I'chiliad going to try lime instead of lemon (or both) next time. It was a big hitting with everybody. Thanks for sharing this!
09/08/2011
Simple and expert. I used this to marinade a london broil for 24 hours before grilling. The flavour is not super-stiff simply information technology's proficient and tenderizes the meat. I poured the ingredients into a large Ziploc and just kneaded them around, instead of blending.
07/28/2010
Swell marinade! No need for the bottle of sauce! I marinated some steaks all day for the fourth of July weekend, grilled them upwardly and everyone loved it, they were then tender! I made it as directed (yep, blending it upward) and have fabricated this a few times since, information technology'due south that adept!
06/17/2008
This is just perfect. I utilize information technology all the fourth dimension for steak in stir-fry recipes, and last night I used it for grilling a big slab of beef. My husband was literally moaning at how delicious it was. I do substitute 2 cloves fresh garlic, pressed, for the garlic pulverisation.
01/13/2011
I was looking for a great steak marinade and decided to try this one - mistake! Way likewise much basil - my kids wouldn't consume it. I retrieve some aspects of this marinade are good. I'll attempt it again, using much less or possibly totally omitting the basil.
12/12/2010
This marinade gave usa the moistest New York Strip steaks always! Next time we might add some actress crushed red peppers considering nosotros like things spicy merely, overall, it was amazing!!
07/31/2011
I made this and i added a tbsp of onion powder and 1/2 cup of tequila to give it a little more boot
12/28/2010
I don't typically write reviews but thought this deserves mention. This marinade was a striking and very quick and piece of cake to make. Nosotros all very much enjoyed it and I will definitely get in once more. Cheers!
06/24/2014
Meliorate than steaks we accept had in New York, Chicago, or even Las Vegas's best. Nosotros did change lime juice for lemon and use real minced garlic rather than pulverization. Also added fresh ground black pepper. Take tried both blended and not blended, blending does seem to mix everything together amend but is not required. Anybody nosotros have fabricated this for goes crazy about how proficient the steaks are with this. You really just can't go incorrect with this marinade. It lives up to its proper noun and then some!
07/09/2012
We utilise this marinate on Flank Steak and put information technology on our woods smoker and it turn out marvelous!
01/04/2010
This marinade smelled so yummy I couldn't wait to try it! I was sooo disappointed. None of me kids liked information technology either. We had to drench the meat in bbq sauce to drown out the flavour of this marinade. Will NOT brand again! Definatly not kid friendly recipe!
07/15/2012
Fabricated our steaks way likewise salty even with low sodium soy sauce.
04/12/2010
Really, actually skilful! The Best Steak Marinade in Beingness? Probably not, but it was very good and well work making once again.
12/24/2009
This was not adept. There was something off about the season. I did marinade four T bone steaks for about half-dozen hours. The meat tasted BLAH!
07/01/2009
It was Great!! I left out the lemon juice and used fresh garlic. Instead of the of using pure olive oil i used garlic and basil infused. Also i used crushed ruby pepper. The steak was great! Using a blender actually makes a difference.
08/06/2011
Made as written, except didn't blend everything together and only marinated for xxx mins. Would exist fifty-fifty better overnight. Definitely a keeper!
07/23/2011
This marinade makes the $twenty cut of meat to taste similar pizza. Too much basil
02/26/2009
This was just okay for united states. As well strong, too salty, and bland. Possibly I bought the worst kind of Soy Sauce on the market place - I followed the recipe exactly. I'm lamentable! I Volition try again with a different soy sauce.
09/23/2013
I take made this 2 times already. The commencement was on steak, then the second was on pork chops. For a 3rd fourth dimension this month, I am using information technology once more on chicken. My family loves this recipe and is a keeper. Minor changes : (ane)I don't blend information technology, I merely utilise a whisk and whisk it really good earlier I put it in a ziplock handbag. (two)I do use the mince garlic, but it is fresh. Nosotros love garlic, so the more the merrier and (3) instead of 1 1/two tablespoons of parsley, I just utilize i tablespoons since parsley tin can be strong. This recipe is a hitting. Even with folks that don't care too much for the ingredients, simply together and after grilled, they are amazing. I recommend everyone trying this.
07/xix/2009
Now this is some fantastic stuff! The flavor of my first seize with teeth of my (grilled) New York strip reminded me of something you'd become at an upscale steak restaurant. I'll definitely make this steak marinade over again.
12/18/2010
This recipe more than lives up to its name. I used bottled lemon juice instead of the fresh squeezed and omitted the hot pepper...information technology was all the same outstanding. All of our dinner guests were truly blown abroad by the flavor!
07/28/2011
I'thousand going through and reviewing all the recipes I have tried and I can say I like this one. I utilise far less olive oil because I really don't see the need. I besides employ less lemon juice because it will "melt" the meat. Not necessary to use only white pepper so I just used skillful old fashion fresh croaky black pepper (yumm). Marinate with soy sauce, olive oil (2 tbsp), splash of lemon juice, Worcestershire, minced garlic, parsley and tsp cracked pepper. NO NEED to blend in blender. Just throw in a non-reactive bowl or baggie (my choice) Marinate for at least 2 hours. Take the out of baggie toss on grill as you ordinarily would and they come out quite nice.
06/23/2011
This marinade is delicious!! Instead of just marinating for an hour or so it turned into more like 24 hours due to a change in our plans. I was delighted that the marinade was so delicious. It literally turned our steaks into gourmet affair. I likewise sauteed some mushrooms and onions with the remaining marinade to go with the steaks. YUM!!!!
12/31/2010
looks horrible, only it tastes awesome.
05/02/2011
I think maybe the basil should accept been 3 teaspoons instead of table spoons. It really overpowered everything else, but I remember this would be and first-class marinade with that correction, and so 4 stars.
06/fourteen/2010
Doubled the recipe, but only used plenty lemon juice for a single batch (Only had 2 lemons, and it wasn't enough, apparently). Overall, it was very good! UPDATE: I made it exactly as written, using a large pack of stewing beefiness that I softened with my meat tenderizer. I poured the marinade over information technology & let it sit for almost 30 min. Then I made Shish-Kebabs with it. I ised 1 large pack of stewing beef, ane red pepper, i green pepper, and 1 red onion. Information technology made 22 delicious shish-kebabs!!
09/25/2007
I was skeptical, just I must acknowledge--information technology actually IS the best marinade in being!
05/07/2010
Awesome! That's all. :)
08/01/2011
This marinade was pretty practiced merely I thought it was a little overpowering for a steak. You lot couldn't even taste the natural flavour of the steak. I think it has too much Worcestershire sauce in it. I marinaded mine for about iv-v hours.
07/xiii/2011
Too salty - utilize less soy sauce & brand sure it'due south low sodium
01/25/2010
certainly tenderized the steak but did not care for the gustation
05/05/2010
I marinaded ii pocket-size frying steaks for 2 days and pan fryed until meat was cooked. I never had a more saltier steak.....Too much soya sauce mayybe....wont waste matter ingredients on this one over again.
12/16/2010
Well, the title is no lie. This IS the best marinade in existence. It's delicious - perfect for steak, pork or craven. I treasure this recipe!
02/xx/2011
I used this marinade for a whole chicken. I put a double batch of the marinade forth with the lemon rinds in a ziploc bag with the chicken for 48 hours. I removed the chicken and rinsed it off well, added the lemon rinds within the crenel, seasoned with rotisserie chicken seasoning and baked. So delicious!! The white meat was extremely juicy and tender. The flavor was great!
08/01/2011
Very good. I'grand a huge fan of using fresh ingredients so I used fresh garlic, parsley & basil as opposed to dried. Marinated our Filet's in this for about 3 hours and they were tender and juicy. Volition definitely make again.
08/03/2009
All I tin can say is "Yum"! Our steak was succulent, tender, and and then good! I changed only one thing, and that was adding some onion powder as well as the garlic. I highly reccommend this marinade!
01/08/2012
We used this recipe earlier this week on cheap steaks for the kids's birthday party.. Even with cheap steaks this marinade was AMAZING!
12/09/2011
Ruined a good steak. Bummer.
02/11/2011
We've been using this marinade for YEARS! We don't add together the hot pepper sauce. Nosotros use it on chicken! Nosotros marinade boneless, skinless chicken breasts and grill them on the bbq pit. We besides take what's left of the marinade and boil information technology downwardly on the stove, skimming off whatever fat off the acme, and serve it as an au jus on the side. It's tangy and salty. We love information technology!
02/10/2011
Cracking recipe and I only added 1 thing and that was because I didn't have plenty Worcestershire sauce so I added some Teriyaki sauce instead. I left the chicken in the marinade for five hours and the flavour was out of this earth. I might add together that this was the most moist craven that I have ever eaten!

I fabricated some changes. I used four cloves of fresh Garlic, didn't have any Basil, but added 1Tblsp of stale Rosemary and a heaping Tsp of dried Sage.Very tasty, and I grilled fatty Sizzle Steaks over Charcoal. Was delicious!

This is a wonderful steak marinade. It works wonders on the cheap tough cuts of supermarket steaks. They e'er turn out moist, tender and delicious.

I marinaded a pinnacle round flank for about x hours and it was wonderful. The just change I made was to use merely 1 tbsp of the dried basil as I was afraid husband would gustation as well much of it. Wonderful marinade, next time I'll opt for overnight or longer. Thanks for a corking one Kookie!

I didn't even mensurate I just put in all the ingredients except parsley and white pepper(I didn't take). I added blood-red pepper flakes, blackness pepper and meat tenderizer and wet minced garlic and didn't blend. I simply put it and the meat in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for a few hours. It turned out so adept!!! Best steak marinade I have e'er made!

This is good! I woke upwards a little late, so I merely had an hour to marinate the meat, but this marinade still lent amazing flavor to our steaks. I didn't bother with the blending (muddy equally few things equally possible is ever my rule in the kitchen), cut the oil to 2 T., and added a generous spoonful of minced fresh garlic instead of dry.

This is good if you similar a strong, teriyaki flavour. I would say it's more suitable for chicken, rather than steak.

I made the marinade exactly equally instructed with the optional ingredients added and yes I used a blender (is it really that large a deal to blend it). I marinated ane one.25 inch t-bone I bought from Publix (which are pretty good quality as far as grocery store steaks become) in a sealed container for virtually 2 hours. Then I rinsed off (yep rinsed off) the marinade from the meat and patted the steak dry with paper towels. So I put approximately 1/iv teaspoon of kosher salt on each side and nearly a 1/ii teaspoon of blackness pepper on both sides and finally, liberal amounts of garlic pulverization infused with parsley on both sides. And then I let the steak sit at room temp for a lilliputian over one-half an hour and broiled for 7 minutes a side for medium rare and information technology was outstanding! The marinade adds just a subtle hint of flavor that brings out the beef flavor nicely. No steak sauce needed at all. This was SLIGHTLY better than my normal routine which is only using Moore's marinade for a half hour meat-bath prior to seasoning and cooking. All in all this recipe is a winner! I wouldn't marinate information technology for a long fourth dimension like many posters take done, unless it was a pitiful slice of meat.

This marinade recipe truly lives up to it'south proper name, it is the best steak marinade I accept made! I used it marinate kabob's that I grilled, they were out of this globe! My only substitution was fresh garlic instead of powder.

Really neat and the first time I only marinated for iv hours. I take 2 that have been marinating since Saturday. Tin can't expect to encounter how they are doing with even more "soaking" time!

I'm more often than not a "let the steak speak for itself" guy, and usually just use table salt and pepper or maybe a little rub, merely i'yard glad i gave this a chance.
